To open an account, we request that you fill out our Account Registration Form, sign it and fax it back to us at 206.352.2253 with a copy of your business registration. A credit reference check will be conducted and we will advise you of your account standing.
Open accounts are invited for customers with high annual order volumes and well-established credit histories.
Qualification for our Stocking Dealer discount requires an opening order of at least $3,000 (at Stocking Dealer Price), with an on-going, annual commitment of $6,000 in order volumes. There is no minimum for re-orders. Larger volume discounts are available in container-load quantities directly from our factory. Please contact us for more details.
Once the initial order requirement is met within our Stocking Dealer Program, there is no minimum requirement for re-orders. Non-Stocking Dealer orders carry no minimums for initial orders or re-orders.
All orders ship FOB Palu LTD, Lexington, NC and ship freight pre-paid. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges. Palu LTD has partnered with three furniture carriers, covering the lower 48 states. Orders wishing to ship via a customer’s elected carrier will be subject to Palu LTD’s Third Party Shipping Agreement terms.
We discourage the use of common carrier service, however if use is unavoidable, orders shipped via common carrier will incur an additional packaging and/or crating charge. Order shipping via a common carrier will also be subject to our Common Carrier Shipping Agreement terms.
Certain items, because of their nature, may require additional surcharges. Shipping dates and times are estimates and are subject to change. We are sorry, but we cannot allow items to ship via UPS, FedEx, USPS or similar provider.
Palu warehouses and ships with Shleba D. Johnson Trucking in Lexington, NC. Charges typically run in the 7-12% range, though this can vary; for areas not covered by SDJ Trucking, associated carrier charges can run in the 10-20% range. As freight charges are billed directly to our customers, we can work with you to arrange another carrier of your choosing to pick-up and deliver your merchandise. Palu takes great care in packaging your products so that they arrive in pristine condition. As such, we assess a $5 box charge on each item. Some items, due to their fragile nature or size, may incur additional palletizing or crating charges. For exact rates, contact our customer service department directly.
Yes, Palu, Ltd. has the ability to drop ship to any address within the US. Residential deliveries typically incur up-charges from freight carriers, so it is always best to inquire directly with us beforehand.
All of our items are only available stocked in the factory finish that is listed. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer every piece in every factory finish.
Palu has recently started working with Lancaster Customworks to create COM cushions for our natural fiber products. Please contact our offices for details.
For all our furniture, we recommend regular dusting with a soft damp cloth followed by a dry cloth to finish. Protect from sunlight, heat and liquids. Do not use any alcohol-based products. For wicker and rattan items, dust regularly with a feather duster or vacuum with a soft brush attachment.
Palu, Ltd. takes great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of all our items and stands behind all its merchandise for shortcomings of material defect or workmanship. All product returns or replacements must be approved in writing.

We take comprehensive steps to ensure that our items are professionally packaged so that damage does not occur during shipping. However, and in a case where damage has occurred, be certain to retain all packaging materials and take appropriate photos to show the extent of damage. Immediately contact our Customer Care Department, we will assist you in seeing the matter is quickly resolved. All freight damage claims, concealed, visible or otherwise, must be reported to our offices within 72 hours of receipt of the item or the claim cannot be honored.
